Horizonte Perdido is a video collage that brings together two found videos, aligned at the horizon line. The upper half features a gentle right-to-left pan across the Valley of Caracas, while the lower half presents a fixed shot of the Central Coast (La Guaira) from the opposite side of the mountain. The work constructs a new, impossible geography—an imagined connection between places separated by the natural barrier of El Ávila.
Through this visual fusion, Horizonte Perdido explores themes of distance, memory, and the longing to bridge divided landscapes.
