An Overseas Border is a looped animation composed of three video layers: two mirrored horizons of the sea and, in between, footage from the ocean floor. This digital collage creates a shifting border—an imagined threshold between surface and depth, here and elsewhere. The rhythmic movement of water and marine life blurs distinctions between above and below, proximity and distance, inviting the viewer to reflect on the invisible frontiers that shape our sense of place.
