The Third Eye is a vertical video presented as a moving film strip, slowly scrolling up and down to reveal three stills from the main video of Silent Miami. Using documentary footage from 1926 South Florida, each image is displayed through a circular mask, evoking the sensation of looking through a stereoscopic viewer.

This piece forms part of the Silent Miami project—an installation that juxtaposes everyday life and monumental events, such as the atomic bomb tests, through a poetic interplay of historical footage and experimental editing.
The Third Eye invites viewers to contemplate the fragility and layering of memory, suggesting a silent witness that hovers between observation, nostalgia, and the unsettling undercurrents of history.
