"Vertical Horizons" is a series of vertical videos that juxtapose digitized 8mm family archive footage with NASA’s digital imagery. Each piece creates a visual dialogue between domestic intimacy and large-scale natural phenomena, exploring the deep connection between emotional processes and the cycles of nature.

Just as family relationships and weather events can be unpredictable and transformative, these works reveal how both contain forces of creation and destruction.

The series invites reflection on the relationship between the human and the natural, and on the contrast between analog memory and a technological gaze.
