The installation consists of two facing monitors, positioned at an angle within a circle of sandbags like those commonly used to contain flooding. On both screens, the video LEARN TO SWIM is projected: a GIF in which the phrase LEARN TO SWIM repeats incessantly, evoking the hypnotic rhythm of old split-flap boards found in airports and train stations. The work alludes to the constant need for adaptation and survival in a context marked by environmental, social, and cultural uncertainty.
